Found scattered on decaying wood.
Description
Fruiting body: Outer surface dull brown and velvety with appressed white hairs. Fertile surface orange-brown; saucer/cup-shaped; margin may be inrolled.
This species and the look-alike C. versiformis can only be separated microscopically. (J. Solem, pers. comm.)
