"Maryland is probably not within the native range, and the insects were likely transported there with agricultural products or ornamental plants. The introduced population survived for a year or two but then apparently died out" (Clark, Rattu, & Cillo, 2014).
Description
Larvae are leaf miners (Clark et al., 2014).
Relationships
Host plants: Atriplex sp. and Chenopodium sp. in saline habitats (Clark et al., 2014).
