Status

Arrowhead Spiketail (Cordulegaster obliqua) is a very large, strikingly marked dragonfly of small forested streams. Its dorsal abdomen has a conspicuous series of yellow triangular markings, which are quite noticeable, even in flight (Paulson, 2011). This species is considered S2 (state rare) in Maryland.
