Found solitary or in small groups on ground under hardwoods or pines.
Description
Cap: Shades of orange, convex to flat/irregular; dry; flesh white but bruises shades of brown. Pores: White to dingy white or even pinkish in age; bruise brown. Stalk: White with orange tinge; bruises brown; base may be swollen. (J. Solem, pers. comm.)
