Description
Eastern Blue-eyed Grass can be separated from other Maryland Sisyrinchium species by having branched stems, plant bases without fibrous remains, and the stem is less than 2mm wide (Weakley, 2015).

Sisyrinchium atlanticum, the eastern blue-eyed grass or Atlantic blue-eyed-grass, is a species of flowering plant in the family Iridaceae.[1]
Habitat
[edit]The preferred habitat is moist sandy shores and grasslands.[2]
Range
[edit]The species is found in eastern North America, from Maine south to Florida and Mississippi.[3]
