Description

Eastern Blue-eyed Grass can be separated from other Maryland Sisyrinchium species by having branched stems, plant bases without fibrous remains, and the stem is less than 2mm wide (Weakley, 2015).

Habitat

The preferred habitat is moist sandy shores and grasslands.[2]

Range

The species is found in eastern North America, from Maine south to Florida and Mississippi.[3]
