The caterpillar of this undescribed moth species bores into a stalk, stem, rhizome, or root of Switch Cane and perhaps other canes. Adults should be looked for near its host plants in Maryland in September and October.

Relationships

Larval host plants include Switch Cane (Hall et al., 2023).
