Status
Spore photos are required to separate Mitrula elegans and Mitrula lunulatospora. Place photos identified by macro characteristics only at Swamp Beacon species. Found scattered or in small groups in shallow woodland bogs or barely moving sections of small streams, on decaying leaves, needles, or debris.
Description
Fruiting body: Yellow-orange smooth, translucent "matchstick" head on pale stalk (J. Solem, pers. comm.).
