Found scattered in groups or clusters. On ground, in moss, or on well-rotted wood.

Description

Fruiting body: Head: yellow to orange; spoon to tongue-shaped; may be compressed at center or longitudinally; covered with short white hairs. Stalk: Yellow to dull orange; scaly/gradular; channel may be present along length (J. Solem, pers. comm.).
