Epicoccum andropogonis (asexual conidia inset) on Indiangrass in Howard Co., Maryland (10/12/2015). Determined by Dr. Megan Romberg/USDA-APHIS. The dark brain-like structures on this grass are the sporodochia of Cerebella andropogonis, a hyphomycete in the order Pleosporales.
