Found scattered or in overlapping clusters on decaying conifer logs.

Description

Cap: Most often yellow/brown; convex; semi-circular; margin incurved; dry; tomentose to smooth; flesh pale yellow; disagreeable odor in age. Fertile surface: Shades of yellow (darker in age) gill-like structures, wavy; forked. (J. Solem, pers. comm.)
