Found in overlapping clusters on hardwood logs.

Description

Fruiting body: Coral/rosy pink; nearly smooth; crust or shelf-like, wavy, minutely hairy; flesh pink, soft and spongy or leathery. Fertile surface: Pinkish-orange to brownish-salmon; irregular or net-like folds with shallow, elongate pores (J. Solem, pers. comm.).

Relationships

Nearly always associated with the polypore False Turkey Tail (L. Biechele, pers. comm.).
