Usually found in groups on decaying wood.

Description

Cap: Grayish-brown fibers of young fruiting body become stretched so color may be yellow at maturity; convex when young to funnel-shaped in age; thin yellow / white flesh. Gills: Decurrent, distant. Stalk: White / yellow, minutely hairy. (J. Solem, pers. comm.)
