Euxesta notata is a species of ulidiid or picture-winged fly in the genus Euxesta of the family Ulidiidae.^[3] It is found in Canada.^[1] As a larva it is referred to as the spotted root maggot, and has evolved genetic resistance against DDT.^[4]
