Found solitary or in groups on or near decaying hardwoods.

Description

Cap: Brownish-gray with darker disc, streaked with dark radial fibrils when young; dry, smooth, convex to nearly flat in age. Gills: White/grayish, margin wavy, subdistant, very broad. Stalk: White, dry, does not detach easily from cap, equal or tapers down, hollow (J. Solem, pers. comm).
