The Risso's Dolphin can be found in deep temperate and tropical waters nearly worldwide. It subsists primarily on squid and fish, and is often found in groups of 10 to 50 individuals. This species can be identified by its large dorsal fin, almost-square head, and often through extensive scarring on the body, especially on older adults. Color can range from dark gray to almost white.
