Status:

Occurs in "[b]ogs, acid swamps, barrens, woodlands from Kansas to southeastern Ohio and New Jersey south to Florida and Texas" (Wagner, 2005)

Relationships:

Host plants include Deerberry, Farkleberry (Vaccinium arboreum), azalea, Fetterbush, Leatherleaf, Maleberry, Staggerbush, and other heaths, but possibly not other Vaccinium species (Database of the World's Lepidopteran Hostplants, Miller et al., 2018, Wagner 2005).
