Status

MBP has followed recent taxonomic reviews and moved T. watsoni records to T. atrifascialis. T. watsoni appears to be restricted to Florida, coastal Georgia, and southern Texas.

Description

Once identification to genus Tallula is confirmed, constriction in the median band appears to be diagnostic for T. atrifascialis. T. watsoni will likely appear in various East Coast data sets north of Florida and coastal Georgia, but should be carefully reviewed.

Relationships

Host plants include Gaylussacia (huckleberry) and Citrus (Heppner, 2003).
