Big Bluet (Enallagma durum) is a very large, robust species of bluet, typically associated with coastal habitats, including brackish water, and large rivers and estuaries (Paulson, 2011). In Maryland, this species is known locally from the Piedmont, and from the coastal plain (Richard Orr's Dragonflies and Damselflies of Maryland and the District of Columbia). It is ranked as S3 (watch list).
