Description:

Nests are categorized as ground burrows, and social behavior is categorized as cleptoparasites and social parasites (Selfridge et al., 2017).

Relationships:

Invades the nests of larger bees in the genus Andrena. It is not clear what its exact preferences are because, as are many bee species, it is very little studied and there are not enough people researching. (S. Droege, pers. comm.)
