Status

In Maryland, this species is almost completely restricted to weedy urban lots and industrial tracts. Railroad lines are especially favorable. (S. Droege, pers. comm.)

Hylaeus leptocephalus is a species of hymenopteran in the family Colletidae. It is native to the Palearctic[2] but can, since 1912, also be found in North America.[1][3]
