A female Red-tailed Cuckoo-leaf-cutter in Baltimore City, Maryland (7/31/2007). Verified by John S. Ascher/BugGuide who noted on 1/1/2010, "This is C. coturnix first collected in the New World by me in Maryland a few years ago and soon after found elsewhere in Maryland by Sam Droege. Probable species identification made by Max Schwarz who studied my specimen from Maryland. These are the only images of the live bee in the New World."
