A male Yellow-banded Bumble Bee collected in Garrett Co., Maryland (7/12/2012). Notes from Sam Droege: "An uncommon species and one that had under gone some recent declines, Bombus terricola has seen increases recently in at least parts of its range. Other than an old record from College Park (which is quite out of normal range) this specimen is the first for the state of Maryland, collected by Fred Paraskevoudakis, on a Maryland Entomological Foray in Garrett County. Photograph by Heagan Ahmed." Photo by USGS PWRC. (MBP list)
