Mallow Rust is a microscopic fungus. Microscopic or molecular data are necessary to confirm identification. Observations without supporting data are speculative.

Description:

Mallow Rust causes orange leaf spots on members of the mallow family (Malvaceae). It is particularly noticeable on wild Malva species and cultivated hollyhocks.
