Status:

Unfortunately, this is an emerging pathogen of wild and captive snakes in North America. No treatment is currently known.

Relationships:

Has been documented infecting Northern Water Snakes at SERC in Anne Arundel Co. (2014 and 2017) (Catesbania 38 (1):78-79).
