Status

New species added to Maryland state list in 2016 with nearest records coming from Georgia and Illinois (S. Droege, pers. comm.).

Relationships

Nest parasite of Dieunomia heteropoda. Interestingly, the sand pit where this species was discovered is our only known location for that species (S. Droege, pers. comm.).
