Found solitary or scattered on ground beneath oaks.

Description:

Cap: Varied shades of red or orange with depressed center, dry; latex white, not staining. Gills: Pinkish-brown, decurrent; stain rusty-brown, close. Stalk: Yellow-orange. (J. Solem, pers. comm.)
