Status:

Generally found at the base of a living oak or on fresh stumps.

Description:

Fruiting body: Singles or groups; varied shades of gray/yellow/brown; soft hairy when young; surface bumpy, uneven. Exudes clear drops when young. Pores: Whitish to gray/brown. Stalk: None or very short. (J. Solem, pers. comm.)
