According to BugGuide.net: "The Grapevine Loopers cannot not be reliably ID'd, even with DNA analysis. The results of the specimens I [Zimlich] submitted, 'A species level match could not be made, the queried specimen is likely to be one of the following: E. diversilineata or E.gracilineata.' Probability of placement ranged from 98.1 - 98.9% for each." (Robert Lord Zimlich).
