Status

Scattered or clusters on hardwoods, especially oak. Fruiting body: Up to 1/8" [4mm]. Cup-shaped with tiny, thin stalk / may look crumpled. Fertile surface: White / grayish-cream. Infertile: White with white hairs. Most references list substrate as twigs and branches; all Howard County records were on logs or stumps (J. Solem, pers. comm.).
