A deformed female Obscure Bird Grasshopper in Queen Anne's Co., Maryland (9/21/2014). Collected at Chesapeake Bay Environmental Center on August 11 and raised to adulthood in captivity. The deformities are from a mismolt in which the insect failed to properly inflate its wings. Photo by Brandon Woo.
