Status:

Broad-leaved Gulfweed is a pelagic seaweed with no attached life stage. This species may be found throughout the Atlantic and is one of the most abundant species in the Sargasso Sea.

Where to find:

Broad-leaved Gulfweed may be found washed ashore on the Atlantic-facing coastline around Ocean City and Assateague Island.
