Status:

Introduced to both coasts of the U.S. from Eurasia in the 1930s (BugGuide).

Description:

Only member of its genus in our area. Wing markings and vein pattern are distinctive.

Relationships:

Feeds on "microflora on tree leaves" (BugGuide).
