"Mature larvae crawl out through the top of the gall and drop to the ground in October. Pupation and adult emergence take place in early spring." (BugGuide)

Relationships

Galls found on Virginia Pine needles. Possibly synonymous with T. pinirigidae (not yet documented here), which is indistinguishable except by host plant (BugGuide).
