No Common Name Sarosesthes fulminans (Fabricius, 1775)  

Status:

This distinctive species is the only member of its genus (monotypic). It is found in central and eastern North America.

Relationships:

Relies on hardwoods, especially oaks and chestnuts (BugGuide, 2014).
