Somber Carpet Moth Disclisioprocta stellata (Guenée in Boisduval and Guenée, 1858)  Synonyms: Hodges #7417.

Status:

"The moth is uncommon in Maryland, wandering up from the south. ... According to John Glaser the only one of the known larval hosts to be found in Maryland is Pokeweed. It is not thought to breed here" (Bob Patterson/BugGuide, 2007).
