Pickleworm Moth Diaphania nitidalis (Stoll, 1781)  Synonyms: Hodges #5202.


A common species of the Neotropics and southern U.S., occasionally appearing as a Fall migrant as far north as Maine. It is a well-known stem-boring pest of cultivated Cucurbitaceae. (Ferguson et al., 1991)
