A Cownose Ray found dead at Point Lookout SP, Maryland (9/7/2013). Comments from Mikey Lutmerding: "Cownose Ray, killed for no reason by one of the many irresponsible fisher-folk at Point Lookout State park. I have found more of these magnificent fish dead on the rocks here than I ever would like to, it is a shame that the people killing them during night fishing cannot be held accountable."
