Tall Tickseed Coreopsis tripteris LinnaeusEndangered (MD)  -  S1 (Highly state rare)  


Historically known from the shores of the Susquehanna River but now only found in the scour bars of the Potomac Gorge in Montgomery County. The Maryland Heritage Program estimates that the, "...total annual population size in Maryland ranges from 500-1000 plants."
