Broomsedge Bluestem Andropogon virginicus Linnaeus var. virginicus  Synonyms: Andropogon tetrastachyus.

Status:

Broomsedge Bluestem is common and widespread. The variety virginicus is present in Maryland (Terrell & Peterson, 2009).

Relationships:

Possible host plant for Twin-spot Skipper.
