Bushy Bluestem Andropogon glomeratus (Walter) Britton, Sterns, & Poggenburg  Synonyms: Andropogon virginicus var. abbreviatus, Andropogon virginicus var. glaucopsis.

Status:

The variety glomeratus can be locally common on the coastal plain. The varieties glaucopsis (purple bluestem) and hirsutior are also present in Maryland (Terrell & Peterson, 2009).

Relationships:

Possible host plant for Twin-spot Skipper.
