Adventive. Native to Europe, now widespread in NA. Introduced before 1916 to control moth mullein. (BugGuide)

Where to find:

Feeds on Verbascum and Scrophularia. The larvae are stem miners also commonly feeding on stems of Asclepias syriaca. (BugGuide)
