Description:

Cap: White becoming pinkish-brown in age; smooth, margin inrolled. soft; hairy at point of attachment. Gills: White becoming pinkish-brown in age; radiate from attachment point; crowded/close (J. Solem, pers. comm.).

Where to find:

Groups on decaying hardwoods (rarely conifers).
