Status:

Maryland has three accepted records for this western U.S. species. The first two were winter records along the C&O Canal in Frederick (#2006-001) and Montgomery (#2006-030) Counties in 2006. The most recent was found at Bayside Point, Assateague Island in September 2011 (#2011-382).

Description:

Compare similar Black-throated Green Warbler.
