Description:

This is the only eastern species where multiple adults can emerge from a single larva (R. Hill/BugGuide).

Relationships:

Associated with marshes with cattails and willows (BugGuide). Attacks various hosts in the Noctuidae and Notodontidae (R. Hill/BugGuide). Documented parasitizing Henry's Marsh Moth in Maryland.
