Status:

Uncommon in fresh and brackish wetlands across the coastal plain.

Where to find:

Southern Dorchester County is a good place to look for Dion Skippers. Check any blooming Common Buttonbush or Coastal Sweet Pepperbush.

Relationships:

Host plants include various sedge species including Woolgrass, Hairy Sedge, and Tussock Sedge (Cech and Tudor, 2005).
