Status:

The Bronze Copper has been in drastic decline across the state. Many populations are now considered extirpated, especially in the Piedmont.

Where to find:

Wet open sedgy swales and freshwater to brackish marshes with plentiful Rumex.

Relationships:

Host plants include various species of Rumex including the native Swamp Dock and the non-native Curly Dock.
