A large Eucerine bee that is a good indicator of high quality habitat (S. Droege, pers. comm.).

Description:

Nests are categorized as ground burrows, and social behavior is categorized as solitary to communal (Selfridge et al., 2017).

Relationships:

Parasitized by Triepeolus concavus.
