Cursed Buttercup Ranunculus sceleratus Linnaeus var. sceleratus  Synonyms: Celery-leaved Buttercup, Cursed Crowfoot.


The "Cursed" part of its common name is derived from its causing blisters on contact for some people. It is said to have been used by beggars to increase empathy (and donations).
