Description:

Per BugGuide: "May be separated from two other very similar saicine species by color and number of wing cells: Saica apicalis is vermilion red and has 3 cells in the wing membrane; S. elkinsi is uniformly yellow-brown and has 2 cells in the wing membrane. Pseudosaica florida is yellow-brown with a dark longitudinal stripe and has 2 cells in the wing membrane."
