Description:

Totally wingless spurthoat Grasshopper; usually greenish; with face nearly vertical. Found in northeast. Very closely akin, and similar to Dendrotettix, Appalachia, and perhaps Melanoplus viridipes, but those all have at least short wings. (BugGuide)
